"No mention of the fact that Zarqawi killed his own son."

Michael Berg's first allegiance is to the PARTY line. Berg deserves no respect nor sympathy for his psychotic perceptions of blame and the cause and effect of his son's regrettable death in Iraq by Muslim terrorists. It is easier to accept the irrational Drama Queens Sheehan and the Jersey Four Widows as icons for bathos. Michael Berg is the PARTY's willing fool. It is easier for Berg to carry forth the PARTY's propaganda mantra than to think like an intelligent man seeking the truth.

daddy berg and most liberals seems to suffer from some bizarre form of Stockholm syndrome where they immediately subjugate themselves and country beneath even the most oppressive scum and governments ever spawned, something in their Psyche needs to release some hidden internal misguided misconstrued guilt complex methinks, i really dont get it . . basically they call evil good and good evil.

one can only wonder what kind of home life the son had growing up, likely lived in some hyper reality created by flower child daddy and never learned to read simple danger cues obvious to everyone else.

what interests me in this story is that the son also had allowed one terrorist to use his laptop in oklahoma (at OU) and was interviewed by slugworth (michael moore) before he left for iraq - we dont know half the story here - i doubt it s whats been portrayed in the press and likley involved moores movie and explains whacko daddys motivations and transfer of hate for what happened beyond just his liberal philosophy. . ?

I've been wondering very much of the same thing. Nick (and his father Michael) Berg's connection with Michael Moore is suspicious. The other "half of the story" is known by others, probably members of the MEDIA as well. Truthseekers will have to pursue it. Nick Berg, a private citizen, choose to go to Iraq and he had a purpose.

"I'm sorry for Nick Berg's dad. His son died an unimagineably disturbing and horrible death. However, Dad has joined in the pack mentality..."

I believe the Bergs already had joined the partisan "pack mentality" - irrational and hateful groupthink.

You're probably right. Rush made an interesting comment the other day of which I was unaware. Nick was in Iraq at his dad's request to try and generate new business for his dad. IOW, Dad sent his kid there and is directly responsible for him being in a position to be kidnapped and killed. Now, to shift the responsibility from himself for what happened (because to do otherwise would mean he had to acknowledge his own responsibility for Nick's death), he tries to make Bush guilty. But all the crockodile tears and false claims against Bush won't wash Nick's blood from his hands.
