That was my first thought. Wonder if Mr. T was lasing the target.

Caldwell said important information was found at the location that led to 17 simultaneous raids later that night in Baghdad and its outskirts that uncovered a "treasure trove" of information. I sure hope this "treasure trove" of information doesn't find it's way onto the front page of the NYT or WaPo. I hope they act QUICKLY on the information as I'm sure they will.

I love it when a plan comes together and a terrorist comes apart.

There is no doubt that his death is going to have a major impact on Al-Queda operations. Especially the news that the $25 million is going to be paid.
It's going to make the scum less likely to trust other scum because they will never know who is thinking about their bank accounts.
Next up, whoever claims to be his successor -- although I am not sure there is going to be a lot of competition for that job.

Couldn't be the "A-Team." I watched them for years and while they shot alot of ammo and blew stuff up, no one ever got really hurt, let alone killed. ;-)

sounds a plausible as any, but in reality those who know what really happened aren't talking. This could be the way it went down, it may be a cover story, or it may just be somebody's imagination. We may not know for years, if ever.

Love it!!! : )

"The Untouchables" were assured in advance they need fear no investigation into their methods to bring Zarqawi to summary justice. That's the ticket.

God bless our brave soldiers who walk in harm's way. IMO, there's nothing more despicable than Liberals and their accomplises in the MSM who attempt to undermine our heroes.

The "Rush Limbaugh Doctrine" of the military's mission at work: kill people and break things.
It can be argued that this operation to bump off al-Zarqawi could have succeeded without the massive U.S. military presence in Iraq. For a welcome change, though, another Islamofascist terrorist fatcat is gone.

Caldwell said an Egyptian militant trained in Afghanistan named Abu al-Masari, who established the first al-Qaida cell in Baghdad, may succeed Zarqawi as head of the group in Iraq.Leak the word out that the $25M reward was paid to Abu al-Masari. Bet he would not last long then . . .
