Well, here goes because I really hate to disappoint. You know I am a pleaser at heart!

Even Farah can come close, just as a bunch of monkeys pounding on typewriters can theoretically make a sentence if given enough time. The only two differences between Farah and the monkeys is 1. The monkeys have no delusions about their importance. 2. The monkeys get paid in bananas and treats and Farah astonishingly gets paid in real Uncle Sam gringo dollars!
The only similarities between the monkeys and Farah is that both the monkeys and Farah have no concern about the veracity of what they write.

With my limited military experience; 31 years, 11 months and 29 days, each has it's place. If viable "covert" operations had been performed during the '90's, all of this may have been avoided, but it wasn't.. What is going on now is not pretty, but it is necessary for our national security..

I have a nephew that is Army SF. He is a highly skilled sniper/scout and he is going to Iraq in less than a month. He will not talk about his deployment, but he did tell me that he won't be wearing dog tags and tattoos are off limits. This young man also told me that if he dies in theater, that I should tell people that he died doing exactly what he loves doing... defending this nation. May God bless him and his wife and may God send His angels to build a hedge around him and place stumbling blocks in the way of the enemy. I pray for the same protection for all of our troops in harm's way.

We still have a lot of work to do. But now we know Al Qaeda can be rolled up. Its just going to take longer we thought to pacify Iraq. But the jihadis now know their victory is no longer as "inevitable" as it seemed yesterday. They are vulnerable to being taken out.
