You didn't write my entire comment.
Did you miss the part where I said I have come to EXPECT that type of thing from liberals?
I have admired certain conservatives because they allow their ideas to speak for themselves.
They can defeat liberals on the merits of their arguing the issues instead of resorting to playground taunting.
One doesn't have to personally attack these widows when all they have to do is debunk their ideas.
But maybe that won't sell as many books.

These gals are not famous for their ideas. Their ideas are not exceptional . If anyone else were to advance them they would not be heard. They are heard simply because they are celebrities, and intellectually no more to be taken seriously than the Dixie Chicks.

You can when those widows call the President a murderer and spew out the most viscous bile against President Bush, Condi Rice etc. There and then one can attack them with as much bile as they spew out.
"But maybe that won't sell as many books."
Cheap shot.
Ann Coulter was a best selling author before anyone even heard of these 4 harpies from Joisey.

In the book, the object of Ann's remarks about the "widows" is to point out how the left has used a parade of tragedy-challenged groups, or individuals, to make their arguments. They think because these people have suffered a tragedy, the right cannot, legitimately, rebut their statements. I am sorry, but I agree with Ann.
When individuals, for whatever reason, attempt to use their status as bereaved to make insulting, untrue, even traitorous statements, they lose that protected status. They cannot throw verbal bombs and then run and hide behind their bereavement.....

That's the point Ann is making and you are missing. One cannot even attempt to disagree with these women much less "debunk" their ideas without having to hear that theirs is an unassailable position BECAUSE their husbands died on 9/11. Insofar as ideas speaking for themselves, Ann's ideas are doing just that. She attacked the widows' idea that they hold a higher moral plane and deserve to because their husbands died on 9/11 and therefore their political agenda is sacrosanct. And judging by the screaming coming from the left, not to mention your squeamishness, I'd say Ann hit the bull's eye. A home-run. I'd say that Ann's debunked them just fine.
And what do you have against her selling books? You seem peeved that she's successful. That last comment just oozes envy...

And maybe being courteous, being PC, will cause the loss of more lives of our American Military, the Iraqi Military, and the Iraqi citizens, and maybe American citizens.
Have you entertained your thoughts in this direction?
