Please clarify.Are you trying to say that there are states that issue concealed carry permits for specific guns? That would require that those guns be registered.
I thought in most places a concealed carry permit was just that ... and with it you could carry whatever you want that is a legal [note I did not say licensed] weapon, e.g. a sawed off shotgun would not qualify. What states require registration of guns?.

I believe it works that way in NY or at least NYC. I think some other places as well.
