It is not beyond the realm of possibility that the 'dump hillary '08' buzz will 'mission creep' to '06. Stranger things have happened.
A recent poll reveals that barely a majority of New Yorkers (51%) think she's doing ok as senator. Much lower than the other high-profile senators.. McCain, for example, is in the 7o percent range. Even Kerry is in the 60s. And, Kennedy, with all his baggage, well exceeds clinton.
It is not impossible that New Yorkers will reconsider... what with all hillary's negative press of late.... I mean, they voted for her only because of her cachet. No cachet, no vote... perhaps....
