I'm not quite there yet. However, the way things look and are going, with President Bush and RINOs, I feel I'm on a "slippery slope" with banana peels under both feet and I am having much difficulty, in finding fault with this rationale and simply, throwing my hands up and saying, I agree.
Well said.
"Has it made any difference?"
There are still over one million babies a year being murdered by abortion every year. Deficit spending is worse than ever, as is our trade deficit with China. We are still forced to put our money into the government's Ponzi scheme of a Social Security system that will be broke in 20 years. Medicare is on its last legs, but this president and congress just added billions more in liability through the drug bill. There is still the worthless Dept. of Education, whose abject failure can be measured every year in plummeting SAT scores. There is still the worthless Dept. of Energy that has given us $3/gal. gasoline and is run by the energy special interests. Our border situation is the worst in US history, with nothing being done until these election year jitters in congress, and after the election, this will be dropped as Social Security was dropped. Just looking at the evidence, I'd actually say we are in worse shape than in 2000. No one can claim we are making progress toward a conservtive agenda unless he is a total fool.
