Sanger admits in her autobiography that she spoke to the Ku Klux Klan.
This is merely a depiction of what it must have looked like when the Foundress of Planned Parenthood spoke at the Klan rally.
What do you think it looked like? Are you contending that Sanger herself was dressed in the KKK robes? I have never seen any actual pictures, are you aware of any? Why do you think this depiction is inaccurate? Do you think there were more KKK folks there? Or less? Was she Margaret Sanger wearing a Planned Parenthood T-Shirt or a Ku Klux Klan sheet? Why not come up with your own depiction and post it?
In her 1938 autobiography, Margaret Sanger discusses her keynote address at a Silver Lake Ku Klux Klan Rally.
I can't say what she said in her autobiography, since I have not, personally, read it. I'm willing to bet you haven't either. I don't see a reference to Silver Lake in the Margaret Sanger papers project at New York University, the best place for primary source material.
I see references to her Klan speech on such sites as the American Life League, and the Army of God sites (THERE's a great group to hang out with, huh?). I'd have to see real source material to know what's true; your standards appear to be lower. :)
I'm not defending her as an angel, certainly; she was most definitely a eugenicist, as was Theodore Roosevelt. World War II pretty much showed us why that wasn't such a good idea, after all, but she was hardly out there by herself in support of eugenics.
