Open up your oil sector, jackass. And for godsakes quit stealing Americans' Mexican beachfront property!
Most investment in Mexico is off limits to American investors.

How many factories sent down there is enough? It isn't like a lot of them haven't gone down there already.

The problem is that the last time we invested in a Latin American nation, Hugo Chavez nationalized it.

American investment is there to be had. The problem is not America but Mexico. Get rid of the corruption and trade barriers and I'm sure there will be investment.
Mexico is exporting unemployment to the US and she needs to correct her problems before telling others what to do.
(Sorry. I'm in a bad mood tonight.)

Open up your oil sector,... Their oil & gas industry is booming. Thing is, American companies that work down there almost always get ripped off.
I'm in the GOM right now, working as a third-party contractor to a Mexican dive company. They still owe my company money.

Given the massive corruption, high crime rate, and historic lack of respect for property rights, Mexico doesn't strike serious investors as being a stable investment.

This guy is the leftist candidate. What he fails to mention is that after we have invested a bundle in Mexico, he will confiscate it.

What does this idiot think the American people have been doing for the last 25 years? We have been investing in mexico's health care, social services, what else can we invest in. Does anyone in freeper land have any ideas.
To: Bangupjob
Indeed. What is "valid" is for the US and Canada to demand that mexico scour the corruption out of their pigsty government, reform the economy to mimic some semblance of a normal human community, and apologize to the world for being a bunch of incompetent, semi-civilized jerkoffs for the last 200 years.
Then come back and maybe we'll consider it.
To: Bangupjob
Hey Jose', I got a better idea...How 'bout we invest in a 2000 mile fortress like wall...That'll keep most of your people in...They then will come talk to you face to face and I'm sure they can offer you solutions to your problem...

Liberalize your economy, privatize the oil sector, eliminate corruption, and crack down on crime especially organized crime and you will be beating investors off with a stick. People are not going to just piss there money down the drain just because you ask them too (unless the democrats gain power then Mexico will go on the dole).

I think by Americans investing in their economy is exporting more of Mexico's poor. Then we can invest in them here.
