Fair enough. Let me ask this. If you were witnessing to the Hindu granddaughter, and she asks if her deceased Hindu grandparents are doomed to Hell... what would you say to her?

And why just the King James Version? Did I miss the time when God came down and announced that the KJV was the only Bible?

Let's see - written in Aramaic, translated into Greek, then translated into Latin and then translated into English in 1661. Of course there were no mistranslations anywhere during this process.

And of course the books that the Protestants decided to toss out (the Apocrypha) are immaterial.
