Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Army Gen. George Casey, top U.S. commander in Iraq; Rep. Jane Harman, D-Calif.; retired Gen. Richard Myers; former House Speaker Newt Gingrich; and Dan Senor, former provisional authority spokesman in Iraq.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Army Gen. George Casey, top U.S. commander in Iraq.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Army Gen. George Casey, top U.S. commander in Iraq.
THIS WEEK (ABC): L. Paul Bremer, former head of the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq; and Reps. Rahm Emanuel, D-Ill., and Tom Reynolds, R-N.Y.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Mouwaffak al-Rubaie, Iraqi national security adviser; Sens. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., and Jack Reed, D-R.I.; and Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
Carl Cameron has a great handle on politics, that's why he's moved from the White House to back on the campaign trail. Cameron didn't get the usual "I HATE FOXNews" callers. The questions he got dealt mostly with the economy and immigration.
One disappointment for me. Carl got a caller from (I think, Early?) Texas on immigration, who wanted to remind viewers about Al Gore and immigration. Carl didn't remember and I couldn't get through
I'm on hold now
I think it's quite telling that they didn't name a new leader after their "meeting". No volunteers? ;-)
Too, Stephy has passed Timmy in viewership in recent weeks. You know that's gotta chap Timmy, considering he's been on MTP years longer than Stephy has been on This Week.
GA number ???
Yep, so it begins. Related....

I will actually watch at least Fox today..I have taken time out from the Sunday Morning shows lately. I hope someone watches Silly Spector flex his self righteous Senatorial muscles on CNN today. I am so disgusted with him . I can't bear his pontificating.
Thank you for the thread.AB.
Their bench is pretty thin right now.
That sure is an old picture. Timmy's face is twice that wide now.
You must have gotten through because I heard it. Good for you!!!
Believing the koshacks, MSM sent about 80 journos to declare a dem. victory on CA-50. Alas! Republican beat & won. Then they start spinning narrow victory.
We live in Ebay times - when you beat your next bidder by a dollar that is called smart bidding. Republican could have got much larger difference, as only 33% voted. They spun the same during Ohio & called the loser, Paul Hacket winner.
Whatever the MSM spin, for us only results matter.
Saw that and got a laugh as you did. Little Timmy will probably rebound but it was funny to see his ratings slip.
One question. Is the shake up at MSNBC going to extend to NBC as well?
Cameron works so hard to report in a nonbiased fashion that he becomes too wordy and doesn't make any memorable comments.
I think he said today that he came from New Hampshire ten years ago. Whether that was professionally or biographically, I do not know. He seems to have liberal sympathies to me. As one who has followed the Bush campaign and Bush presidency for most of his association with Fox, he is definitely NOT sympathetic to this Administration or GWB.
and I got on so fast, no wait at all....I was (still am), shaking. it's been awhile since I called in
How'd I do? Hope I made my point clearly
I believe Junior Samples was from GA.
I honestly don't know if Carl Cameron is liberal or conservative. You may be right but I have not witnessed a bias in his reporting. If he's liberal that's okay too as long as he reports fairly and tries to be accurate.
You did fine. Few on the east or west coast realize what's really going on in southern Texas. I didn't hear you shaking one time, either. LOL
