Moreno Valley is just south of San Bernadino. They already have flags up at major intersection. On national holidays many more flags are put along major steets. These are the flags they won't put up.

There is a Mexico consulate Office across the street.

There is a Mexican consulate office across the street from city hall of San Bernadino. Better grammar.

That helps. Now I get the picture. Having lived in Los Angeles so many years, I am used to there being no special display of extra flags at any time.

I recall that, a couple of years ago, Thousand Oaks -- a mostly conservative suburb north of Los Angeles -- was getting complaints about special displays of flags along the streets and their city council caved in.

It's a weird, disheartening trend. So, Moreno Valley has decided that flags at intersections are okay but not along the streets?
