APPARENTLY- this was a family court judge, 3rd floor of courthouse.. Good money says this was a father that got totally screwed over in one of his court decisions.

...family court judge...as in divorce court (for those who don't like divorce industry doublespeak)? That would seem to be also suitable for extended news. I happens fairly frequently.
