IIRC it was the 2nd day of the attacks on Ann when several others in the media began to write stories that AGREED WITH ANN - and explained exactly why Ann said what she did.

I do not like the remarks Ann made. She helped garner sympathy for the Jersey Girls, who are slime. They were entitled to sympathy in the beginning but they used it up by turning into political hacks.

Coulter speaks for Coulter. She chose to defend conservatism since there's lots of testosteroned-up men in the movement and she gives them a reason to drool over a leggy blonde without their wives getting pissed at them ("it's just about politics").

Don't be surprised if, at some point, she feels she's milked conservatives for all she can get, and she pulls a David Brock.

this "slut" term is a bit much. do you know (or care to know) anything about Coulter's sex life? I don't, and don't want to. its not a basis for discussing this topic.

but the other points stand - she uses her sex appeal and outrageous behaviour (in the form of these statements) to publicize herself - you can't deny that.

I said Paris Hilton is a slut..there's documented proof of that. Ann uses her sex appeal? No, I don't agree. In fact, I think there's nothing "FEMININE" that she uses. She just calls it as she sees it. This is what she does, this is what she's always done. It's what has made her successful. If a man said this, it wouldn't have gotten half the publicity.
