...the bill that was largely penned by Sens. Edward M. Kennedy, Massachusetts Democrat, and John McCain, Arizona Republican.

This is all I need to know about the bill. Anything "written" by these two anti-Constitution a$$hats isn't going to be good for the country.

If I were a LEGAL IMMIGRANT in line at the same time as all of this nonsense occuring, at one of our US Consulates overseas (US Visa Section), waiting for my American visa appointment, interviews, papers, what not....if I heard this plan, I think I would riot in line and encourage others to do so.

My stepdaughter took a 700 mile trip to Moscow for an interview to obtain a tourist visa. She stated there were at least 500 people in line. Most came out crying after being denied a visa. Only one of the 500 was granted a visa. When my stepdaughter was interviewed they told her she was refused a tourist visa because her mother is in America.

I'm right there with you concerning President Bush. I did more in both his campaigns in time and money than I have done for any Presidential hopeful including Ronald Reagan. It pains me that he now seems more like H and less and less like W by the day. It's another lesson in why you should stick with policy and not personality with candidates.

Bring the fight on! Sensenbrenner will lead the House delegation because it falls under his Committee Leadership.

I believe, as ludicrous as it might be, the Senate bill was sort of an intelligence test for America. They made it as absurd as possible to see what people's reaction would be. If not, We're being led by people who surely seek to destroy our way of life.

The more people see of this Senate bill

That is something the Senators can never be accused of --- they never read most of the bills they pass.

From Polipundit this AM: You just can't make this stuff up.

Is This Like a Virtual Fence?

Those that have lived along the Canadian Border know that there are many locations that do not have manned entry points.

Just recently, I read an article about this;

When private boaters enter U.S. waters from Canada, chances are there won’t be any U.S. Customs officials there to meet them. Instead, they are supposed to go to a videophone - like the one at the city marina in Ogdensburg, N.Y. - and give the home port, boat registration number, the names and citizenship of all passengers and a list of alcohol or anything else acquired outside the country.

If you do call in, and they ask you, “Anything to declare?” how do they really know?

What do they do when the caller is someone from a country on some sort of watch list?

Maybe we should call Julie Myers?

I believe you're on to something, Wolf.

But I also believe that the definite intention of these people is to destroy our way of life. ...and I don't think they come in just onesies and twosies. I believe it is an orchestrated and concerted, collective effort on the part of the majority of elected Pols.

...... few provisions of the Senate bill have caused more head-scratching among opponents than a last-minute amendment that requires the U.S. to consult with Mexican officials before commencement of any fence construction along the border. "I don't know what they were thinking on that one," Mr. Sensenbrenner said.

Rep. Tom Tancredo, Colorado Republican, said he met last week with a group of hotel executives from Marriott International Inc. He told them about the consultation requirement. "People in the front of the room were saying, 'No. No. That's not possible,' " he recounted. "Really," he told them. "I'm not making this up."

The "consult with Mexico" provision was inserted in the bill moments before it was voted on at the behest of Sen. Christopher J. Dodd, Connecticut Democrat. It says soliciting views "of affected communities lessen tensions and foster greater understanding." "It is simply common sense and common courtesy to consult those individuals in our own communities and in affected communities on the other side of the border before constructing a fence," Mr. Dodd said. The consultation amendment, he said, would "foster the kind of cooperation that is vital if we are going to once and for all secure our borders."

They get that, and more, much more.

The following briefly explains why illegals creep across the desert and perpetuate the lie about taking so-called "low-pay jobs Americans won't do."

The US taxpayer is subsidizing aliens' every need 24/7, morn til night: Using multiple phony SS #'s, forged documents, and multiple IDs the invaders collect multiple $4500-$5400 EICs from the IRS by declaring several names/jobs - just by going $1 over the income limit. They also line up for EINs, ITINs, Child Tax Credit, Additional Child Tax Credit, welfare and food stamps.

US Taxpayers are subsidizing invaders' daily food intake, housing, reduced mortgages, free medical care, free education, reduced in-state tuition and out of state tuition. We also foot the legal bills when they start suing if we don't provide these goodies pronto......etc., etc, ad infinitum, ad nauseaum.

The 423 pp monstrosity Senate bill (secretly written in El Presidente Vicente Fox's hacienda assisted by reconquista groups) provides that invaders will be paid a prevailing wage, Earned Income Tax credits, medical benefits; housing benefits; WIC; anchor baby citizenship; legal representation and amnesty from back taxes owed.

The Senate atrocity does not meet Constitutional muster b/c Vicente, and the reconquistas, could care less about the US Constitution. They want only to get their greedy hands on the US treasury and to take over the US government with the vote, or by violence, if necessary (their own words and signage at the recent protests).

All of this explains why aliens will do anything, pay anything, endure anything, to sneak over the border to get so-called "low-paying jobs" They have extortion dancing in their criminal heads......plans to rip-off US taxpayers every which way they can.

.....and billions of our tax dollars go back to Mexico where El Presidente Vicente gets a nice chunk of it---and so do the federales in Central and South American banana republics who help their compadres cross the border.

I hope this bill is dead.

It certainly is a stinker from front page to the back.

What we shall do, then, is institute the "PENCE WINDOW" at all consular (visa) sections of US Embassies and U.S. Consulates around the world.

"THE PENCE WINDOW"

The Pence Window: (Definitions and Concept)

Located at all USA Embassies and Consulates at the Visa Section, there shall be two windows. One shall be established--essentially they are already there--for foreign citizen applicants currently already in the legal process to emigrate to the United States, those who already initiated these procedures legally, adhering to Federal Immigration Law outside of the United States. I.e., those that had already submitted their paperwork to a US Consular Offical, or otherwise have no intention of illegally entering the United States through criminal tresspass and avoidance, but rather going through established channels at our diplomatic facilities overseas.

Such a window will be called "LEGAL IMMIGRANT WINDOW".

Currently, the long lines of individuals waiting days, weeks, months and years will continue to line up at that window.

Immediately NEXT to the "LEGAL IMMIGRANT WINDOW", shall be "THE PENCE WINDOW FOR FORMER ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS/EXPRESS LINE"

Illegal immigrants to the USA who have returned to their country under the Pence Idea, shall line up in this special line. They shall have all documents, their current US identification, water bills, school tuition bills, etc. to show they have been living in the USA. At this window, they shall receive preferential treatment and will have their cases expedited in a mere THREE-TO-FIVE WORKING DAYS, whereupon they shall be granted guest visas to live and work in the United States, and so they can also quickly return to the United States as 'legal residents', no longer in the shadows.

The "LEGAL IMMIGRANT WINDOW" and lines for it shall be placed as close as possible to the "PENCE WINDOW/EXPRESS LINE" and the former illegal aliens lining up there.

Kris Kobach, former head of the immigration section under Ashcroft told me the senate bill was in large part written by a woman aide of Senator Kennedy. He said this aide is extremely liberal.

And the people writing Spence's 'brilliant' S-F-B idea and legislation, haven't the slightest idea of how things actually operate overseas, at US Embassies and Consulates, the horrendous backlog, and how their idea is going to cause tremendous resentment from the ranks of would-be legal immigrants already in line overseas. There could even be fistfights over this thing at embassies between the legal immigrants, and illegals coming back to their 'express lines'.

correction: PENCE (rhymes with "Fence", which we sure need more than "PENCE" these days).

""Rep. Tom Tancredo, Colorado Republican, said he met last week with a group of hotel executives from Marriott International Inc. who favor increased immigration to bring them more cheap labor to work as hotel maids.""

Here's the deal. The invaders get to sell drugs to YOUR kids, and rape YOUR daughters, not ours. You must allow 30 of them to live next door to all Marriott executives....middle management and up. You must reimburse the city, state and federal government any welfare, hospitalization, and social services they partake of. OK Mr. Marriott?
