I think it was amazingly rude to use a human being as an example of his personal politics,"

Liberals INVENTED that trick...we just do it better and with more flair!

"We need to discuss the humanity of it. I'm glad to be able to speak up for children in the womb," she said. "If abortion is about women's rights, where were my rights?"

Beautifully stated.

And, from Representative TED Harvey...now you know..."the REST of the story."

This from the same people who use people as exhibits all the time to advance this or that aspect of the liberal agenda.

Oh my oh my yes yes yes. No problem bringing in a bum or a prostitute to complain about some conservative leaning policy. How does the shoe feel on the other foot, Rats?

Liberals do not like being taken by complete surprise. What's ironic here though, is how they complained of a person being made to serve as a partisan prop. This from the same people who use people as exhibits all the time to advance this or that aspect of the liberal agenda.

Exactly. The primetime broadcast of the 1996 Democratic National Convention began with a curtain rising to reveal...Christopher Reeve! Also speaking that night...Jim Brady!

Hypocrisy? Whatever do you mean???

Dangit, how did I miss this story? Kudos to the congresscritter and this woman who has overcome so much. I doubt she'll be a guest on Oprah.

Good point. She and her many pro-choice viewers wouldn't want to be made to feel uncomfortable.

My wish is we had more such bad taste and not only in Colorado.

Oh, if only more people today had manly sentiments like men did before the '60's.

Wow that's a big file! Did you just use the words human being and pro-life in the same sentence!?

Exactly. The primetime broadcast of the 1996 Democratic National Convention began with a curtain rising to reveal...Christopher Reeve! Also speaking that night...Jim Brady!

And the day poor Christopher died, John Edwards saying that when Kerry became President, quadriplegics would rise up and walk.

Then there's Clinton gathering four murderous twits in the Rose Garden so he could point to them and say "Look how much trouble their lives would have been if there were no partial birth abortion!" Never mind that they had conveniently forgotten this thing called a C-section...

"I think it was amazingly rude to use a human being as an example of his personal politics,"

Wouldn't be good to use human beings as examples I guess.

Seeing someone who survived being executed as an infant just would be too "personal".

I guess seeing the evil exposed really does get to these people.
All I can say is bring it on.

"I think it was amazingly rude to use a human being as an example of his personal politics,"

Notice how exposing the act, or putting a face on it, is "rude" or, sometimes, "extreme". (The act itself, of course, is perfectly kosher.)

Marie Antoinette, tasting wine on the Titanic, this is way beyond metaphors.

Gianna is a very special young woman - her very presence exposes the situation: others have now target not merely an idea ("choice", as they call it), but a person. Confrontation of this internal contradiction of A) maintaining civil company with other human beings, and B) wishing other human beings dead......... that is what has them fuming mad.

Your pastor was inspired when he said:

"My pastor has told me several times that the world saw mass infanticide twice before: the birth of Moses and the birth of Jesus Christ. Satan is sensing the approach of something he's experienced before; a SERIOUS WHOOPIN'!"
