Hatred can make the most intelligent do and say stupid things.
My brother, who has expressed hatred of GWB, swallows all of the trash from the press that is anti-bush. He does genetic research and has PhD and MD degrees from Duke and yet his ability to apply critical thought processes to politics with GWB in the White House has disappeared.
I don't understand it and we just don't bring up politics on the rare occasions when we do talk.
It's amazing how emotion can overtake logic.
Whenever I get into political discussion with my liberal friends, they begin shouting.
At that point its done. They don't want to hear anything that might make sense.
