Most county's are sustained by sales taxes. If unemployment has dropped 18%, then it stands to reason that sales taxes will increase. But she doesn't really say why or what initiatives were taken to make unemployement drop. Some areas naturally develop because of their proximity to something that is growing. Some lag.
I understand there were computer problems. But what does that say when there is a simple forum and they are having problems responding to the questions posed. Were they using an old 286 computer?
Look, this isn't a rant against her or her candidacy. But there wasn't a single answer that gave a genuine insight to her candidacy and what she is bringing to the table to address the questions or issues on the minds of supporters, or even more important her constituents. And sadly, folks from her district were largely not heard from.
I did not make the selection as to what questions would be presented. But it was quite obvious that many questions submitted and presented to her were directly related to Ms. Irey's district. District 12 residents had just as much opportunity to present questions as anyone else.
