"All conservatives are hereby forbidden from mocking or criticizing any leftists at all, past or present, for fear that the media may quote their comments out of context on a slow news day. I have spoken." - JR Dunn. Exactly. Except that it wasn't a slow news day/week. We killed Zarqawi, Bush went to Iraq, Rove was not indicted. The leftist, fifth column MSM just wanted to keep good news off the airwaves and out of print. They instead needed something to distract from conservative victories and something with which to attack conservatives.

Let me ask you this: when, prior to last week, was the last time you heard of the Jersey Girls? Never.

Ann Coulter for President!
Since when is civility in the face of treason a requirement?

If you read the book, you'd know the point she was making. If not the Jersey Girls, then the anti-war bush hating democrats will drag out the next group of widows and orphans and cripples who will be free to call bush and conservatives all manner of names without any fear that conservatives will legitimately defend themselves. The fact is that it is a strategy of the democrats to push these unfortunate people to the front because they know that nobody will dare to question their motives. Well Ann Coulter set the stage for all of us to call these people on their opinions and to point out the utter disgracefullness of the Democrats to use widows and orphans and cripples to perpertuate their lies and their treason.
I have never before read any of Ann's books. When the democrats started suggesting that she do everyone a favor by killing herself, I felt compelled to purchase a copy. Her points have been proven by the reaction that she has received. Now we have a choice. We can stand behind her and attempt to put an end to this morbid tactic of the left, or we can abandon her and let the traitors and bush haters have their victory.
I'll stand behind her on this one.

The classic figure here is Coulters idol, Joe McCarthy. Bellowing about Communists you couldnt produce (and it cannot be repeated often enough that McCarthy bagged nobody the Party infiltrators had been cleaned out by the time he showed up) was bad enough. Doing it in an ill-cut Chicago gangland suit with a five-oclock shadow and fifth of Jim Beam under your belt simply turned it into a circus. Ignoring the fact that McCarthy WAS RIGHT about communist infiltration. And, now, because everyone is so scared of being compared to McCarthy the communists operate in the open and our nation is infested with them.

"Jersey Boys", on the other hand, just won several Tony Awards.

Better yet, when have you heard the Jersey Girls since then?
Never.
The only people who listen to this are liberals who need their daily boost of confidence, in order to press forward with their crazy causes. The Jersey Girls preach to the choir so who cares what they say, or how much press they get. They aren't converting anyone. If anything Ann has opened the eyes of some people on the fence.

So it's OK for crooked Harry Reid to call the president a loser and an idiot and we move on. I guess if I were a liberal I'd want to talk about Ann Coulter being ill-mannered rather than the issues she raises, namely liberals sending out people like the Jersey Girls, Cindy Sheehan, Max Cleland, etc. who can't be questioned. Liberals loose when you talk about issues.

How come we never see any reports in the media about the incivility towards conservatives every night on TV, with shows like Leno, Letterman and that crap on the Comedy Channel? Their whole shtick is to bash Bush and conservatives but no one seems to be all that outraged in MSM-land. Gee, I wonder why that is?

Ann hasn't hurt my cause.
The lamestream media tried to blunt Ann's point about using victims the only way they knew how--BY TRYING TO REESTABLISH AND REINFORCE THAT THE WIDOWS ARE VICTIMS!!!!!
They made Ann's point for her.

I am coining a new catchword based on this article.
"Conservopussy" - A Conservative who is afraid to attack Liberals on the basis that Liberals might find something in the attack to complain about.
The author is a Conservopussy.

I've been onto this trope by the left for some time, as many of us here. Ann just defined and elucidated it nicely. Take the Sheehag. The first couple of times she opened her grill I gave the standard disclaimer about "honoring the loss..." blah, blah, blah until it became apparent that she wasn't honoring his memory, she was trading in it... she was TRAFFICKING in the memory of her son, and she needed to get the treatment that Jane Fonda got when she was signing those books and the fellow shot the stream of Red Man in her eye.

Let me make sure I understand this logic...
If I speak of Hitler and his evil today I'm giving him another 15 minutes of fame...even if I'm warning a complacent and forgetful world
Sounds like liberal logic...
