what they are really doing is using our lives and the issue of our safety and well-being as a means to achieve a political end.Bump.

Thanks for posting, it is a good letter.
I just heard a commercial for this website, be careful, when visiting this site your monitor might get blurry.

If you visit this site you will be able to send notes of support, read notes to the troops and read notes from the troops. I am very surprised I didn't know about this one yet.....
God Bless our fighting men and women. They are the reason I was able to confidently get on that airplane to Atlanta and the plane back.

Worse than not supporting the mission, the left will claim on a daily basis that we're murdering the poor Iraqi's. Then they also claim that they support the troops. By logic, the one's they believe are carrying out the murders are our troops. Calling someone a murderer is hardly support.

Excellent article/letter.
I have posed that same question to liberals: How exactly do you support the troops? Have you sent them care packages? The answer is always no.
The liberals use the troops for their political end. Period. And that gets me so hot under the collar that I think I may have to get up and go down to the local Starbucks and whoop me a few liberals right now!

I wonder how many letters like this are sent to the NYT and the LAT each week and hit the sh*t can as soon as they are received?

It seems like our troops never get a break in any direction. I read the following headline in the WP today:
Iraq Amnesty Plan May Cover Attacks On U.S. Military

So, our good buddy Maliki says its AOK to kill Americans? There's gratitude for ya..

If your desire is to protest the war, then protest the war, but dont use me or any reference to our troops as a tool to bolster your purpose.I'm glad a soldier finally said it!!

The Peace Movement lost all credibility when the persisted after the signing of the Paris Accords. They are not about Peace, their agenda global Marxism.

"Such organizations damage the morale of the men and women in the armed forces and progressively cause them to believe less and less in the mission at hand."
Great letter, except I wish he hadn't written the above sentence. This will only encourage the 5th column, it is just what they hope to hear, hurting soldier morale is one of their goals.

Pings to DC chapter members who faithfully face down these same type of "troop unsupporters" every Friday at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and elsewhere. Maybe each Code Pink non-supporter there should get a copy of this Marine's letter. (It may not help, though, since many of the words are over two syllables.)

While I was in Nam, my wife would send me the papers from Seattle where she lived at the time. Infrequent letters and one or two tape recordings was all we could manage. There was no email, phone calls or internet and I realized the misinformation published in the liberal press at the time were mostly lies. My wife eventually realized that too. A few of the "war reports" were from my AO and was news to me too. So
not much has changed with the anti-American groups. Soldiers/Marines need to understand that the press will print crap because crap sells.

I oppose the MSM, but support the columnists, reporters, and editors. Now, would someone please kill off a few thousand while I claim to support them?

I think I speak for an overwhelming majority of our troops when I ask organizations like The Ridgefield Coalition to Stop the War to discontinue using Marines, soldiers, airmen and sailors as a means to serve a political end. You are neither supporting us nor honoring us. You are doing the exact opposite.BUMP!
