But, I can hear it now - another whole round of "How DARE you question my Patriotism!" and "How can you evil conservatives possibly criticize this WAR HERO???" Sort of like the 2004 elections all over again.

Murtha is another one of those minions of the left Ann (bless her in all her brainy hotness) was talking about - given media credence because they can be portrayed as being morally above any scrutiny.

Speaking of Murtha, it may be of some interest to really inquire into the circumstances of this scumbag's acquisition of his Bronze Star(s).

I know as an indisputable fact that Bronze Stars were awarded in the height of the Viet Nam conflict in many cases for nothing more than showing up for duty -- and getting home with a clean pecker.

I wrote too many of them myself -- citations and all. In so many cases they were nothing more than Good Conduct Medals.

And, that is a fact. Been there; done that!
