Truly the guy has turned into the man from oz.

Well that explains his plan to "redeploy" to Okinawa. He just forgot to mention the second part of the plan where we outfit all our soldiers with ruby slippers.

"All right maggots, we gotta go back so repeat after me. There's no place like Iraq, there's no place like Iraq...."

I tried to watch this today. In order not to turn into a raging screaming nut like a Democrat I had to change the channel. This man is incredibly naive or is playing to his party's base. Either way he is despicable.

Simple explanation. Murtha heard about the North Korea missle and decided to deploy, errr...re-deploy...uhmm..send troops to be on stand-by for that..

See? An easy mistake that anyone could make- getting Iraq confused with southeast Asia.

pppfffttt...

-- Rep. Murtha: "We don't have to be right there. We can go to Okinawa. We can redeploy there almost instantly. That's a fallacy. That's just a statement to rile up people to support a failed policy wrapped in illusion." (NBC's "Meet The Press," 6/18/06)

Apparently Murtha is as good in geography as he is in military strategy.

Dear Congressman Murtha,

Better make sure your retirement home is in order, Diana Irey will be replacing you soon. You are incapable of making intelligent national security decisions.

Love,
Jarhead

John Kerry Murtha is one of the shameless Democrats who voted to send our troops to war (when the polls showed 70% of Americans supported it) and then changed his mind when the polls turned around. He never misses an opportunity to sell out the troops. Disgraceful.

Murtha is absolutely right! "WE CAN'T WIN". "WE", of course, being the Democratic Party. No way can they win with that slogan.

In January 1943 Roosevelt and Churchill met at Casablanca and established the principle of "unconditional surrender," as the terms for ending WWII. Today the Democrats have accomplished the same thing without leaving Washington.

I can't put my finger on it, but I think there is a crucial difference between the two cases. Maybe it has to do with which party is supposed to surrender.

Thanks for the link to Murtha Must Go!. We need all the support we can muster to oust this bozo come November. As a parent of a deployed soldier, there is nothing that would give me greater joy than to see that scumwad packing come November. Murtha is going to learn the hard lessons firsthand as taught by his seditious predecessor, John Francios Kerry.

"I am incredulous that this old coot is receiving so much attention".

I am also incredulous about this never-heard-of before Murtha. And he could be getting slightly off balance in his old age. It does happen.

This was admitted in an article some time back, and when I posted it, it got no attention. Same with much of the other thoughts on FR, Sweetness and Light seems to be being quoted quite a bit on FR, rather than the other way around.

Murtha is taking credit for Somalia, because he advised Willie to cut and run then, too.

I detest John Mutha (sp intentional)....about as much as I detest Hanoi Kerry (same traitors). It's about time America stands up to these anti-American and anti-US Military aholes and puts them in their rightful place. If not a prison, at least in the same 'has-been' dustbin of history as Al Gore the Bore and sKerry.

Murtha should change his brand of booze.
