If it's going to take men/women in uniform to shut this man up, someone please find said people to carry the message. I'm really growing tired of this "if you never served you can't make statements about the war" nonsense. Someone remind me of FDR and Clinton's service. When the men in uniform, serving NOW not 30yrs ago, stand up this to this man, they are silenced by the MSM.

He's talking about making political statements, duh the guy is running for the dem party leadership as announced last week. Does anyone with a functional brain not realize he's doing exactly that himself!

Yep. Murtha needs to be verbally bitch slapped for hiding behind his uniform when called on his defeatist statements. His defeatism is especially offensive considering he voted to send us to war in the first place and conveniently changed his mind when the polls changed.

The alien media nation acts as if all 39 years of Murtha's military career were in Vietnam. Only one was. And I've had a hard time finding out what he did at all the rest of the time. All I've been able to dig up is an announcement when he was a Captain taking over a small reserve unit.
