ALBANY, New York - A recent fundraising letter from Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is seeking re-election this year in New York, does not mention the state, but it slips eight references to "America" or "Americans" into two pages.

The letter points to a fact of life in the world of New York's junior senator, who many think may be a contender for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination: The national stage is there, and she is making use of it.

In recent weeks, the wife of former President Bill Clinton has begun a series of national policy addresses. The economy was the topic in Chicago in April, and it was energy during a speech in Washington in May. The focus was on privacy in a Friday address to the American Constitution Society in Washington.

At the end of next month, Clinton gives her report to the moderate Democratic Leadership Conference meeting in Denver on the "American Dream Initiative" effort she has led to devise an agenda for the country and party.

Unlike earlier fundraising appeals, the recent letter contains no mention of potential Senate race opponents. There is plenty of talk about national Republicans and their apparent dislike for her.

"My name is at the top of their list," her Friends of Hillary letter begins as she quickly launches into an attack on "Washington Republicans."

"The Republicans can't stomach the fact that I'm leading the fight against their misplaced priorities," Clinton writes. "That's why Karl Rove was quoted as saying, `We have to do something about her.'

It gets more amusing every day, as Hitlery continues her "subtle" frothing pursuit of White House POWER. The Marxist Medusa is nothing less than a totally unqualified candidate for same, with a highly divided ThugoRat party fighting amoungst itself to see who will vie for the slot in 2008. IMHO, any strong, fighting conservative can easily put this criminal witch under the table in any debate. The very thought of another Clinton reprobate in the White House is sickening and would be a serious situation for America and its founding documents.

If hitlary was ever able to ininuate herself into the White House it would be a disaster for the Republic and the world. She would no doubt complete the job that her criminal husband (plea bargained while leaving office) did by making big cuts in the military and space programs. This in turn would motivate our enemies to pressure our interests throughout the world. Her shining accomplishments would be allowing radical jihadies to set up training camps in failed states, graduating thousands of terrorists each year (part of her husbands legacy). Taiwan would be forcibly reunited with the totalitarian mainland (after having defeated us in a two week skirmish thanks to hitlary's decimation of the military). God will have been permanently banished from the public square. No silent moment in school, no "In God We Trust" on the currency,
and no pledge of allegiance to any flag except kofi's un monstrosity. This is the brave new world of the codepinkos and the other vermin of the left.

Yes, spot on. Another target, and in the very short term, would be the media, censoring the internet, and talk radio -- anything that EXPOSES the socialist/criminal side of the Clintonistas. Oh, don't forget the replacement of the stars on our beloved flag, with a hammer sickle...
