Um, doesn't that sorta imply impairment of mental function?

The military, moreso than most occupations, is not a place for people who are predisposed to poor risk assessment.

That's it. I can't understand how gays say they have to openly profess their sexual orientation because they "can't live a lie" yet that is precisely what is expected of a military member who holds a security clearance. Every day you have to "live a lie" and not expose the exact nature of whatever it is that you are cleared for. Yet those same gays say they are not a security risk even though they openly say they can't keep a secret.
