Frontline The Dark Side
The internal struggle between Vice President Dick Cheney and CIA Director George Tenet with regard to the war on terror. CC Stereo
Reflections on tonight's report.
Who watches Nightline anymore?
Lol!, that is true.
Yawn
People without cabel or dish TV, and my neighbors, who all suffer from depression or are hypochondria.
Mr. Bush kept Tenet waaaaay too long.
Tenet should have been fired on 9-12.
9-13 was too long.
Every single dime of taxpayer money should have been pulled from PBS years ago. It's nothing but a Leftist propaganda machine. The people who run it should be arrested for sedition.

Lord Cheney finds their lack of faith disturbing...
lol!
But plenty of nuance for the moonbats to do their typical paranoid thing.
I've never seen a documentary so heavily rely on "creepy pictures" to make its case.
They're really getting some use out of the sepiatone Photoshop filter.
This could be a 52 week a year sidebar..
with direct links to what ever is playing...
tonight is different only because of the particular subject.
You've got to admire the tenacity of the America-haters. We're headed toward a substantial victory in Iraq, bringing freedom to millions of people and hope to billions -- and the liberals just keep trying to throw sand in the gears. They never give up.
This guy was another "Yes man" appointed by Clinton in the mold of Janet Reno and Madeline Albright. Bush was ill served by keeping him around.
This show is unbelievably biased. But I'm watching
Gees just how objective a report can it be if even the title is so preloaded as "The Dark Side"?
So . . . the CIA presents their side of the story. A few straw men here and there. People covering their legacy fannies.
Bob Grahm is an unbiased source isnt he? /sarc
I Love the pic of tenets eyses that make him look like a puppy being scolded L0L
So many choices....one doesn't know where to start.
WBGH-TV, Boston. Need I say more? Frontline should have been defunded 25 years ago.
Wow. They made Cheney into the new Rove. All about Cheney. they made him look like Darth Vader.
not a very balanced piece. Note Tenet and Cheney stayed away from this dreck.
Ahhh.. but they fingered Rummy in the Ford white house as the guy who gave Cheney power by tricking Ford. Therefore Rummy is Rove L0L
Heres Joooooeee Wilson!
1-20-01 would have worked for me just fine!
Basiclly it looks to me as if many of the folks that provided information that help substantiate invasion of Iraq got nervous when wmd werent turned up and began changing their tunes and claiming they were coerced by the administration in order to cover their own butts from critisism.
Its called transference
Wow! This is a well-orchestrated smear piece by Frontline on Dick Cheney. I could not believe the deceitful statements about Scooter Libby. Frontline implied Libby was charged by Fitzgerald with revealing Flame's name, when everyone (everyone not living in a cave) knows that is not true.
That puke is a real piece of shi
.
>>>Basiclly it looks to me as if many of the folks that provided information that help substantiate invasion of Iraq got nervous when wmd werent turned up and began changing their tunes and claiming they were coerced by the administration in order to cover their own butts from critisism.<<<
Exactly. So far, not a hint of Joe Wilson's contradictory statements to the NYT and the congress (e.g., no hint he is a pathological liar).
Yup, But I want to see what the libtards are going to be buzzing about in the AM
And now the (drum roll...) "Dick Cheney declined an invitation by Frontline to be interviewed" (as if anyone in their right mind would want to be interviewed by that liberal propaganda machine)
Why do ALL PBS types give reports in whispering hushed tones?
Heres a clue about pbs,
This past Sunday they did a fathersday tribute and couldnt resist doing bits on fathers who beat and abuse their children ans on the celebration of single Moms as Fathers.
PBS is getting goofier and goofier with each passing year
Time to de-fund PBS. Think of it: no more "NOW", no more "Frontline"; no more 'Good Time' Charlie Rose'; no more Tavis Smiley; and no more "News Hour". Of course, we will miss all those right-leaning shows, such as . . . (help me out here . . .).

Cheney's adviser?
;^)
Aww they didnt need Cheney anyhow.
They had bob graham and paul pillar, tony kay and joe wilson.
Im shocked they didnt get hans blix and john murtha and john kerry and cindy sheehan
Boston Globe 7/15/99 Anne Kornbluth "
WGBH-TV, Boston's publicly funded station, has been swapping names of contributors with the Democratic Party since 1994, a party official said yesterday, handing over a total of more than 32,000 names despite clear prohibitions against tax-exempt groups engaging in political acts
. Republican House members yesterday called for a criminal investigation of the station after learning of a single account of name-swapping between WGBH and Democrats this year. An official at WGBH initially downplayed the incident, saying it was a onetime mistake committed by new employees who did not understand the rules. But last night, Jenny Backus, spokeswoman for the Democratic National Committee, said the party has been sharing donor information with the public television station for years and to a much greater extent than WGBH officials had admitted
.When the Democratic Party began compiling a mailing list last February, the official in charge of the procedure - known as the ''list broker'' - approached 123 organizations. Of those, 62 groups agreed to share lists. WGBH was among them - giving an additional 20,000 names in exchange for the names of 9,800 Democratic donors, plus the station received a financial payment for the equivalent of another 10,200 names. Backus did not know last night how much the DNC paid the station
."
Interesting critique, but it seems like they're treating that time period like a vacuum and unless I missed something (I came in a little late on it), they completely overlooked Iraq's role in all of this and the games played with the UN.
No more Tavis Smiley? say it isnt so! He's fair and balanced ;)
What they all miss is the fact thatwe didnt need WMD to justify going to Iraq.
Saddam balked on the resolutions he was to abide by at the conclusion of gulf war 1
He was shooting at or pilots daily, He employed a plot to assasinate GH Bush.
Legally since he never abided by the resolutions we were effectivly still at war
I watched for maybe five minutes and concluded, just more Bush bashing... aren't they getting a bit obvious?
All in all, I'd call the program a documentary in the Michael Moore genre.
Yep. It was all one-sided. The omissions were glaring, and the inconsistencies obvious. For instance, the show praised the NIE reports almost as Gospel and then, when an NIE report's conclusion didn't fit the show's aim, they tried to make it seem like Cheney himself was the author.
There was one great moment - I laughed my arse off when they had some pollyannish lib talking about how Condi, as NSA, should have chastised everybody else for sloppy work. Dude said it like it happens all the time, but no examples were ever given, and it was completely pie in the sky foolish and ridiculous on its face.
I copied and posted the photo to my blog...I LOVE IT.
Hope you don't mind. (i.e. if it's copyrighted let me know).
No, his Sith master apparently... :)
