My biggest concern is that they have noted these weapons are pre-1991, and that the poisons within are so degraded as to be pretty much useless (that's a good thing, right?).

The libs will therefore declare that these are old WMD and of no value becuase their application is worthless. How long does it take for these poisons to degrade when stored in an acceptable environment vs being stored in a less hospitable environment? And how is it known these are pre-1991? I know I shouldn't trust the media, but they're trumpeting these "facts".

Even if these some/all of these shells are pre-1991, and even if they turn out not to be the binary type that don't degrade (we don't know yet), the UN inpspectors previously found that Iraqi mustard gas could retain high levels of purity for at least 12+ years:

So it's not out of the question that pre-1991 WMD munitions may still be quite dangerous.

Let's put most of the Times's reporters and a representative sample from the rest of the MSM somewhere out in the desert and find out!
