I've made my last turista trip down to TJ and Rosarita Beach. That's it. Done Me too. We used to love going down to La Fonda restaurant in Rosarita, and of course junk shopping in TJ. No more though, it's getting a little too crazy now.

TJ itself is so much more cleaned up then it used to be - the shopping district is not at all scary (as I remembered it being in the 80's and early 90's). But I agree, I can't think of anything there that I couldn't live without for the rest of my life.

I thought La Fonda closed up a few years ago. That place was GREAT. Bucket of clams, fantastic dinner, music and beer while watching the sunset from the outdoor patio. It was as good as it can get.
