At the beginning of the show, she challenges talk-show conservatives with the taunt: "I’m going to Tikrit next week. How about you?"Didn't Rush go to Afghanistan?
Did D-list Kathy miss Laura Ingraham broadcasting from Iraq?
Wasn't Michael Graham there, too?
Can D-list spell "O-L-L-I-E N-O-R-T-H?"
Typical Leftist know-nothing.

I'll be up for a while and this show comes on. I'll report back on what I thought of it.
If she was disgusting, I'll have no problem in saying it.

Regardless of her sentiments.......
If you don't support the mission, You don't support the troops! The mission is the troops, the troops are the mission! ..Iraqi Freedom is the goal....and if you don't support Iraqi Freedom....your against the troops.
Its very simple and requires no "nuance"!

Folks can say what they want. She went there. She entertained our troops. Made them laugh. God bless her.
"Why can't we fight a war in St. Lucia?" LOL.

I think her claim to fame is that she was once bedded by Jack Nicholson. That would definitely make her D list. Along with about half the budding starlets in the new Gomorrah.

She's a throwback to FDR and Truman -- the time when you could be a leftie and still love America.
Mind you, as the left-wing boomers die off (and Griffin is early Gen-X), the throwback leftie may make a comeback.

Rush has done plenty for the troops. He's given a discount for his Rush 24-7 for the troops, which is taking money out of his own pocket.

"Hopefully her eyes were opened a little wider to the fact that we are the good guys over there. She deserves some credit for actually going when most of her lefty Hollyweird friends who like to shoot their mouths off won't."
I agree. I find her disgusting when she blasts Bush and conservatives, but maybe her visit will open her eyes and she'll finally learn why we are there.

Rush has done plenty for the troops. He's given a discount for his Rush 24-7 for the troops, which is taking money out of his own pocket. IIRC...he's allowed OTHER PEOPLE to sponsor troops.
And even if there's a DISCOUNT...the money's still coming in.
I love Rush...but that's a weak argument.

Griffin: I think Rush Limbaugh should, you know, pop a few of those Oxycontin that he probably still has laying around and go over. I mean, I'm not saying go straight, he's got to take the edge off, but, you know, put your money where your mouth is, O'Reilly, go do a book tour or something over there."
I think she has a point. They should go over there. She did and you can't knock her for it.

If you don't support the mission, You don't support the troops! Somebody on another thread here said it like this - "If you won't stand behind the troops, I dare you to stand in front of them!"

I personally can't stand her one iota, but if she's there in country, putting on a show for our guys and gals in harms way, Bravo Zulu for her.

She started out being a big lib, goes to Iraq to perform for the military. She wonders why she bombed in the beginning with the troops, and the reason was they could sense she was not a friendly comedian. They didn't like her. They and I sensed she was being liberal.
She was there before and I am surprised she could have forgotten what the soldiers are about.
She had to change her act while there in order to get acceptance and any laughs.
She wasn't smart enough to figure out that her beliefs in her comedy at first is what was sinking her.
She used the comedian form Mad TV to help save her butt and her husband (who had the Star Jones stomach stapling) was making a speech that she is great at adapting her act.
I think she was more political than I expected.
I think what she first went to Iraq with was inappropriate.
I think the military folks in the audience responded in kind and that she never got the reason her stuff didn't go over.
She was a dim bulb in that regard.

I watched the show last night and the army guy who showed her her room in the palace pointed out the TV and said it gets all the channels except FOX news and she said "Thank God".
To: america-rules
She is going to sink herself, I agree.
Why all the channels but NOT Fox? That seems unusual.
