So, if such weapons are no longer a concern after a few years - then why did the DOD build a multi-bajilliion dollar incenerator to destroy our chemical weapons stockpile at the Pine Bluff Arsenal in Arkansas? And why is there an extensive early-warning system inplace in the community around the arsenal - and a major evacuation plan in place for a good part of the State that is related to the same-said stockpile? Exactly, we have the same program here in Oregon at the Umatilla depot, every once in a while they get a false (hopefully) reading and the eco-freaks go nuts. We can't burn the stuff fast enough, or safe enough, or blah, blah, blah, for these twerps, but high numbers of reportedly, high purity, VX, Sarin, Mustard or whatever being found in iraq is nothing to worry about.
