So what's the point? These WMD are not significant. The recovery of "approximately 500 weapons munitions which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent" that could have found their way into terrorists hands--terrorists who want to use chemical weapons in the NY subway system--sounds significant to me. In any case, I thought Saddam said he had destroyed all of his weapons of mass destruction.

I'm unsure what the point is. I simply figured that a question that easy to answer (why isn't this headline everywhere?) deserved a reply. Anyhow, keep in mind that here at FR we are in a sort of bubble where Saddam's ongoing nuclear, biological, and chemical WMD programs have been discovered since immediately after the 2003 invasion. Out there in the real world, all that's been found is some inert pre-1991 junk. I don't see anything in this latest report that would change that in either case.
