CHICAGO, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- "It would be inappropriate for us to confirm or deny details of news reports about federal law enforcement action before an official statement from the Justice Department.
"However, Sears Tower security officials regularly speak with the FBI and local law enforcement authorities who track and investigate terrorism threats. Today was no exception. Despite new information, law enforcement continues to tell us that they have never found evidence of a credible terrorism threat against Sears Tower that has gone beyond criminal discussions.
"Among commercial office buildings, Sears Tower sets the standard for security. We have implemented many measures -- both visible and behind-the-scenes -- to protect the building. Our officers are among the most highly skilled of any commercial office building, regularly receiving training from the city of Chicago, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, the Secret Service and the FBI on topics ranging from how to detect people with ill intent, how to spot and react to a suspicious packages and how to respond to a fire until the Chicago Fire Department arrives.
"We place the highest priority on the safety and security of our tenants."

Whew! I'm glad I read the article. From the headline, I thought the Sears Tower had come to life and was speaking to us.
Isn't that now "K-Mart Tower"?
LOL, only Israel can do that, you have to keep checking the old ladies just the same as everyone else.... remember... no peeping < /sarcasm>
"Isn't that now "K-Mart Tower"?
I hardly think so since K-Mart is in bankruptcy.
I would not want to work there. From past reports, it seems that the Sears Tower is the next big target in America for the terrorists.
Oh my [reference to Deity ruled unconstitutional by 9th Circus Court of Appeals] a talking building!
