"Ah, the Boss, truly one of the great thinkers of our time. NOT."

Ah, the Boss, truly one of the great screamers of our time.

The guy never could sing.

He has a lot of limousine liberal fans who describe the preachy multimillionaire singer gouging fans with extreme ticket prices as an "everyman" entertainer.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. I was blue collar until I went back to college. Everyone in my family has been blue collar, so I know "the culture" pretty well. He's always struck me as a big phony. Never could stand watching his videos.

His voice makes me cringe almost as much as Dylan's.

After Fats Domino and before Depeche Mode, there was this guy... That's about it. Some people think the sun shines out of his ass, but I've never been impressed.

He is a has been. Holding on to what little bit of glory he may have had. He will be playing county fairs in a few years.

Springsteen helped Asbury Park stay a Hell Hole for decades and was responsible for keeping that dive bar The Stone Pony from being torn down... While he lives in luxury

Bad move Brucie. Like all Conservatives, Ann can not only dish it out, she can take it too.

I am eagerly awaiting Ann's response to you Brucie- can you handle the incoming without whining? I doubt it.

I've always ranked Springsteen an one of the most overrated rockers ever--right up there with Pink Floyd, Neil Young, and Frank Zappa (flame away!).

I listen to an internet western radio station. I used to rate it five out of five stars. Then, they started adding in stuff like Garth Brooks and Pete Seeger, and I rated it down to four out of five. Now, they've added *two* Bruce Springsteen albums to the rotation, including this Pete Seeger crap. It's down to three out of three. I give the BS songs the thumbs down every time they come on, but I'm close to dropping the station. I think I'd hate his music even if he was a conservative. I hate how he keeps his teeth gritted when he sings. It's like listening to McCain sing.

I saw him being interviewed by a sympathetic host--it was either Charlie Rose or Bill Moyers--and he couldn't help coming across as an idiot even in that environment. He rambled, barely made sense, and just reflexively bashed Reagan apropos of nothing.

Is it me, or does Bruce of Colts Neck always look and sound constipated?

It's one thing to be this year's flash in the pan and get sucked into making an idiot out of yourself by making political commentary, but it's another thing altogether if you are an aging, washed up rock singer who was an over-hyped mediocrity to begin with. What a friggin maroon.

He's just like McCain. They keep their teeth together when they talk. Now that BS is doing folk music, he's added a drawl to his gritted teeth delivery. It's really horrible to listen to.

Let's see... Bruce is a high school drop out while Ann went to Law School... Bruce has been a musician for the last 40 years while Ann has worked in and commented on the US Government for the last 20 years.

Why not let Ann write the books and make political commentary while Bruce, you do what it is you do... Ann promises not to record any CD's.

How the hell does someone from Monmouth County, NJ, develop a "drawl." I always felt the same about John Bon Jovi, who is from Perth Amboy (near Staten Island) by way of Sayreville.

Then again, Arlo Guthrie speaks with an Okie twang, even though he was raised in Brooklyn!

Is it just me or does it seem editorandpublisher.com is doing a full court press against Ann? There's another thread on another article run by them against Ann.

They're trying to get her conservative voice banned from newspapers. Will they ask for her books to be burned or just not published? Do they wear brown shirts to work for real or just symbolically? Inquiring minds and all that...

This is a classic camel's nose under the tent. What conservative will editorandpublisher.com go after next?

I always thought it was wiser to keep quite and be thought a fool than to open your piehole and remove all doubt.

Springsteen sounds like my old basset hound howling at the moon. He doesn't have a voice, can't hold a tune, and the good Lord only knows how he made a fortune "singing". Half of his songs he's just talking.
