Did anyone see that less-than-impressive female divorce attorney on Fox just now? If it weren't Sunday morning, I would swear she had had a few drinks.

"He never had an WMD's" to "OK so he had some but they're not as dangerous as they were ten years ago." Talk about moving the goal posts.

I bet they will never talk about this article either.

Fox news had a "news alert" stating that the PM of Iraq has presented a "Reconciliation Act" that includes a timetable for US troop withdrawal.

Did I hear that right?

You are fortunate. Thank them, from so many of us, for their service.

When I took my kids to Pearl Harbor, it was so great to have some of the veterans who were there telling us about it.

I am not sure. I heard it too but they were also talking about the leaked story about General Casey's comments and although I think that is what they said, I could have been confused.

Chuck Norris on Fox and Friends now.

I feel busted. You are right of course. Truth or the best course for the nation should be the mantra of each and all of our politicos. It's just that so seldom happens now a-days in a run to get elected allll the time congress.

"Let's also consider who is on these shows, and what it says about their agenda......"

I mostly agree with your analysis. It is very rare to see a real conservative on any of these shows. When they're there, they're mostly "balanced" by an opposing viewpoint, and usually outnumbered in their "balance". I'm not quite as pessimistic about the outcome of this kind of agenda driven show, however. Most times, when liberals simply speak, and particularly, as last week on MTP, when they're supported and encouraged by the host, they make fools of themselves. The vast bulk of America sees them for what they are and are not persuaded.

From your post-

The community of nations may see more and more of the very kind of threat Iraq poses now: a rogue state with weapons of mass destruction, ready to use them or provide them to terrorists. If we fail to respond today, Saddam and all those who would follow in his footsteps will be emboldened tomorrow." -- Bill Clinton in 1998

My wife had the volume turned up really loud on that segment and was listening intently. I wonder if I should be concerned.

I think you're right. The Reconciliation Act presented by Iraq included amnesty (for those "without blood on their hands").

The timetable came from General Casey (nice).
