I happened to catch him making that remark as well. I have permanently written him off.
I saw this outside on a little black and white tv while working in the garden. She said something so funny I was laughing out loud.
It went something like (as she spoke in all seriousness), "Everyone knows that Lieberman or any Democrat can't expect to win a DEMOCRAT primary running on a moral stance." She basically said that no Democrat in a primary can win when standing onh morality.

The Amnesty being offered by the Iraqis does not extend to those who have engaged in Terrorist acts.
Good catch! Lieberman chucked his moral compass overboard then he abandoned all his former principles and embraced Algore's just for the chance to be elected VP.
I listened to Juan Williams very carefully and what jumped out at me the most was his complaint that the Administration would get all the credit for the fact that there wasn't any attack on America since 9/11. Why shouldn't Congress be in on things so that they could get some credit also?
That's really letting the cat out of the bag then. If the Dems and RINO's like Specter don't get any credit for keeping the country safe, well then we'll make it easier for the terrorists to attack and make the Administration look bad.

Boxer really is a very stupid person. We have "Amnestied" people who have harmed our troops after every war we have ever fought. What does she think we are doing when we accept a surrender? Someone should ask one of these complete political bigots if that means they are advocating we NOT take prisoners anymore? What this "No Quarter" Democrats?
Boy, they are really trying to whip up public opinion against the Iraqi government. Wolf again asks the oil minister if there will be amnesty for those who tried to harm Coalition forces. The oil minister shoots it down. MSM, give it up. This is not working.
Joe's primary ought to be worth the price of admission.

I wish Blitzer would ask the Iraqi oil minister something about oil production, which would seem to be his area of expertise. At any rate, Shahristani seems like a pretty sharp guy, reasonable, well spoken, intelligent. Now he's asking him about the Iranian involvement in Iraq. I guess he couldn't get the defense minister on but he had all the questions ready so he asks them anyway.

In their rancor against one of their own for his "diversity", they prove how hypocritical they all are. A pox upon all of them...if they EVER get back in power, they'll kill us all...financially and bodily.
Lieberman had the power -- right then -- to change history and bring the Democrats back to some level of respectability and accountability. But he blinked. He didn't have the courage. In contrast, Barry Goldwater led a group of Republicans into the Oval Office to meet with President Nixon -- he left office a few days later. That's what Bubba deserved -- Lieberman let him off the hook.
