Wow, Russ! You made a lot of progress on that deck in one day. And it looks like it's going to be a big deck too. I'm sure it will look great when it's finished!

The whole deck is 24 feet wide comes out 16 feet and 12 feet with the 6 X 6 hot tub to one side. 3 sets of stairs, framing is all pressure treated southern yellow pine, composite decking with a handrail system that is vinyl. Virtually maintenence free.
There will be a roof covering the whole thing, 24 X 16
I was wondering why you had such high posts, but now it makes sense with the roof over it. My parents have vinyl handrails on their deck, and they are great. You will have to post pictures when you are finished.
