Not that it has anything to do with his standing in the polls, but his support (backed by campaign donations from them, of course) of lying, incompetent private weather company AccuWeather in their attempts to cut off public access to weather data the public has paid for with taxes was pretty stupid.
Because summer is starting and I got better things to do. Wait until September before the real fight starts. This will be a close one.
We are not indifferent to Santorum. It is a small, noisy group of people. Don't give them any more importance than they deserve. They don't like him for his strong stances on moral issues, especially on the homosexual agenda. They've even as gone as far as defend Casey's connections to Hillary Clinton.
As things stand now, third party votes will not be decisive.
Plus there is an argument that Ricky is an overall negative for the party. On balance he may need to go.
I doubt it's remotely close. I don't live there now but I grew up in PA, and am back there a lot, and there are hordes and hordes of Reagan democrats there who are back to loathing the Republican Party, and even some Reagan Republicans who now intensely dislike Bush.
In much of PA the economy is anomalously doing not as well as the rest of the country, and there are a tremendous amount of people who are virulently opposed to the Iraq War who are NOT the standard Left-Wing hippie crowd - a lot of retirees, elderly, etc.
Santorum's toast.
I sent my money to the Diana Irey campaign.
Blah blah blah
FYI Santorum opposes amnesty. There are other reasons why some conservatives don't like him. (I support Santorum)
If Santorum would have simply been neutral Toomey would probably have defeated Spector (and Hoeffel as well).
I don't know what state you're living in, maybe the state of denial.
Santorum commercials are everywhere.
Haven't heard peep from caseload yet.
Just stick to your backstabbing threads. You are at home there.

Bush lost PA with a closer vote count than the "too close to call" Ohio vote. The entire state is red except for the two blue corners of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh (with some suburbia). It will be close - especially if the dead in Philly are not that motivated...
Why don't you get the facts first before hijacking the thread with up your anti-Tancredo rants.
Santorum is unpopular among conservatives because of his support for Specter and the fact that he's behaving like a typical Washington insider. It has nothing to do with illegal immigration.
The only thing I would disagree with is your characterisation of Pennsylvania as 'blue'. It is the same colour as Ritchie Blackmore's first band. (That's Deep Purple, for non-rock fans). It is a very winnable state for the GOP, both its US Senators and a majority of its House delegation are Republican, and it has only narrowly voted Democrat in the last two Presidential polls.
I had to check where you lived because it sounded like you were describing my Senators, Nelson and Martinez. :0)
Yeah it doesn't take much for the backstabbers to stick the knife in.
I live in PA and I support Santorum 100%.
Unfortunately, the latest Casey ads are bashing him for voting against certain conservative amendments to the Senate Immigration Bill, despite the fact that he voted against the final product. This could hurt him in a state overrun with illegals.
Is your brother going to vote for Casey or not at all?
