If the Feds were serious about enforcing our law, events like this would be "ripe for the picking". If the Feds, read "the White House", had no intention of enforcing the law (so much for the oath of Office), then the situation would be... exactly as it is.

It is all about packaging.
This time I think the White House misread the publics opinion on allowing the criminals to stay. He (Mr. Bush) has no intention of protecting our borders, but he wants amnesty so bad he can taste it. Enter his new found interest in "protecting" our border.
Back when I was a child we called it lying.
Today they call it marketing and teach it at universities.
