Come on, Carl. The Tigers are in first place. GM announced some good news this morning. The sun is gonna shine again. Why so cranky?
The senior Democratic senator from Michigan had some very testy exchanges with Fox & Friends' Brian Kilmeade this morning. The topic was possible troop reductions in Iraq. Levin has been leading the Dem charge in alleging that the Bush administration is orchestrating the drawdowns with an eye on the November elections.
At one point, the give-and-take went like this
Brian: "Judging by conditions on the ground, do you think the President enjoys having troops over in Iraq? Do you think he would keep them there one day past where they should be there or have to be in harm's way?
Levin "I don't think anybody enjoys having troops in Iraq."
Kilmeade. "Why would you think [the president] would keep troops there at a level level if they didn't have to be?"
Levin: "I think the Karl Rove playbook . . . "
Kilmeade:"Karl Rove, not the general, is making the decisions?"
Levin: "You're interrupting my answer here."
"Brian: "Go ahead."
Things ended on this nasty note:
Levin: "I hoped this would be an interview of me rather than an interview of you."
Brian: "I listened to you talk, I watched you read."

Say that ... what was priceless was a shot of Brian before the break, shaking his head. LOL
Kilmeade is my kind of no-BS interviewer. If only other people didn't spin their agendas....
I saw this exchange this morning and am so glad you captured it.
After the interview was over, the came showed Brian shaking his head in disgust at Levin.
I love Brian. He does not hold back on the interviews!
Carl was ticked off this morning after that interview.
Brian should have told him, "I'm the interviewer, because while I will still be here after the commercial, you will be gone."
I love it. Wish I had seen it. I like Brian.

This was my favorite treat of the morning. Adorably cute, quick and entertaining sportscaster Brian tweaked the nose of Senator Levin but good. And he didn't let Levin get the last word either!! I emailed thanks and congratulations to Brian.

Clearly, the Dems have been spoiled by the MSM. When someone asks them a real question, they get confused.
Carl Levin and the entire Democrat Party are traitors and guilty of treason to these United States of America. If the American voter does not totally destroy the Democrat Party, the Democrat Party will destroy America, the voters, their families and their children!!! And....Carl Levin, being Jew, will have the pleasure of having his sliced off by the very people he aids and abets. What a dumb butt!!! End of story!!!

Someone needs to tell Levin that optometrists have these little rubber thingies that you can affix to your glasses, to make them stay on your nose, near your eyes, where God and the eye doctor intended them to be.
