You know did it once. Stops selling drugs and becomes a memeber of society.

They do not hold the same ideas on reform as we do. Prison here is for reform. Prison there is for punishment.

Most of their reform is done through hard labor etc. There are major abuses there.

Some people are sentenced to prison though for drug charges. Its not etched in stone that one will be shot on the spot in China for selling drugs. One is gambling with their life for doing that though.

Either case though you don't want to wind up in a Chinese prison either way. In some ways you might opt for the execution if given the choice.

There are courts in China believe it or not, despite what some may hear.

Those courts can and often are corruptible though. Most are not very lenient on drugs, but you never know.
