First this guy over at Salon debunks RFK Jr's crazy "Bush Stole the 2004 Election" theory and now he tells the lefties that evil Dick Cheney wasn't behind 9/11?

I think he's going to be standing in the unemployment line fairly soon...

According to Dylan Avery, a 22-year-old filmmaker

Sorry to be so glib, but this kind of says it all. This is what we get when we prize the "everyone's opinion has equal value" and "no one has a corner on the truth" attitudes in our schooling.

What in this guy's vast life experience even gives him the right to feed people this crap? Answer: Nothing, and if you say that, people will say everyone has the right to their opinion.

But they don't, not really--they have the right to an informed opinion. Spreading this kind of crap does no good--none.

The film points to eyewitnesses who reported explosions coming from many areas of the buildings after the planes crashed. Willie Rodriguez, a janitor who was working in the North Tower, says that he heard a loud explosion near the base of the building.

Yeah, it`s called people hitting the ground from 1000 feet up.

Deep down the rabbit hole one day, I found Jim Hoffman, a 49-year-old software engineer in Alameda, Calif., and one of the most diligent 9/11 researchers in the movement. Hoffman, who runs 9-11 Research and 9-11 Review, two enormous troves of attack-related documentation and analysis, has looked into the film's claims more thoroughly than just about anyone else online. Though he agrees with Avery that the government was behind 9/11, he finds much of "Loose Change" wanting.

Hoffmann is known as a moderate democrat.

How does one respond to a twenty-two year old who (let me think) was about sixteen when we watched the planes fly into the towers? I know, I don't. It's not worth another minute.

I think he's going to be standing in the unemployment line fairly soon...

Probably not. He gave Clinton crony and Jersey Girls supporter Jamie Gorelick a soapbox to espouse her own 9/11 denials, one being:

And we ourselves blew up lots of myths -- for example, that the 19 hijackers were undetectable, or that there was a relationship between 9/11 and Saddam."

Then there's this little nugget of crapola:

Slade Gorton, the former Republican senator and commission member, told me that the most serious threat to the commission's work so far came not from conspiracy theorists but from Rep. Curt Weldon, R-Penn., who alleged that the commission ignored information that the classified military program Able Danger had identified Mohammed Atta and other 9/11 plotters before the attacks. Gorton and the other commissioners believed that the commission weathered that storm with its reputation intact.

(Just wondering: Is Slade Gorton a former Republican or a former commission member? Did his parents read lots of comic books or detective novels just before he was born?)

As Avery sees it, the true 9/11 attackers brought down the World Trade Center in a controlled demolition . . .

I guess Cheney also manufactured the films of the second plane going into the other WTC tower...what an ingenious way to hide the fact that there was a controlled demolition! No doubt about it; not only is Cheney evil, but he's an evil genius!

Personally, I formed my opinion as I watched the planes fly into the Twin Towers that morning. Within two hours of the attack, some TV stations were showing the video phone call from Mullah Omar in Afghanistan, denying any knowledge of the attack. Where is that footage? I'd sure like to see that again, now that I'm supposed to be doubting my lying eyes.

The only "conspiracy theory" I support is the one between the Clintons and Sandy Berger and Jamie Gorelick. Whatever secrets Berger stole from the National Archives is central to learning about the scope of the failure of the Clinton admin to protect the U.S. Also, Gorelick and the OKC bombing make for any interesting jaundiced view of the Clinton response to terror.
From the first WTC bombing to TWA 800 to OKC to Kobhar Towers to the Embassy Bombs to USS Cole, the Clinton WH failed our country over and over.

The entire 9/11 Commission was a taxpayer funded obscenity and nothing more. I found this article to be interesting and well researched, but it rankles that the author would give so much space to the puppets who sat on that commission. Whether it's the official report or merely quotes from these professional liars, without the material that Sandy Berger stole from the archives, it is incomplete.

All this effort to explain a simple thing:

19 Islamist hijacked 4 airliners, crashed three into buildings and lost a battle with passengers for control of the 4th.

These loons have to invent new "facts" to continuously modify their "theory" as it gets debunked.

I've heard or read that sentiment a number of times over the years, in one wording or another. It's always seemed self-explanatory to me, but you'd be amazed--maybe not--how it infuriates many folks of a liberal persuasion. They try to make it seem like it implies some kind of government agency that allows opinions based on blah blah blah.

A normal person can read it and see the meaning is pretty darned obvious: Know what you're talking about when you open your yap.

Folks like the creator of this "movie" seem to think the right to an opinion means the right to have one's fantasies--one's NEED to have an Evil Government Conspiracy that controls life--legitimized.

Considering that this all started with the French book, I am not surprised. I work with a lot of Frenchies here in MIA and here are some of the crazy things I have heard form them:

1) Katrina and the New Orleans mess was all planned by Bush because all those people were black and poor. At the time during the fiasco they were saying that thousands of people were dead.
2) Florida was going to be hit by a tidal wave similar to the one from last year in the Indian Ocean and that we should be ready.
3) Americans dont watch the World Cup because they are selfish.

Yes they have said things like this and I laugh my head off at them.

Then I watched what are perhaps the most compelling images supporting the notion of a forced demolition -- the many videos showing the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 at 5:20 p.m. on 9/11. The collapse, which FEMA also pinned on the fires started in the neighboring twin towers, is extraordinary; the building simply disappears into itself, disintegrating like it had been planned for weeks.

Is the author agreeing with the conspiracy theorists regarding WTC7?

LOL - I wouldn't put it past them to believe something like that.

I just can't understand the thought processes that these loons possess. Apparently, it is beyond their comprehension that sometimes, SOMETIMES - things actually do happen just as we see them happen and

*GASP*

there really isn't a super-secret government agency behind it all.

As the stoned, brain damaged VW Bus (played by George Carlin) in the animated movie "Cars" so eloquently states:

"It's a conspiracy, Maaannnn..."

And as all of us might say to the libs, as the "conservative military jeep" in the movie "Cars" says to that aforementioned VW Bus...

"The Sixties weren't good to you, were they?"
