What was the point of forcibly evicting the entire Jewish population of Gaza if Israel is doing this? Surely some other outcome was not expected.
So will the Jewish "settlers" be allowed back in now? If not, what? What does all this mean? If Israel is going to put the Gazan Arabs under siege but doesn't want Jews to live there either, what's the point? Perhaps they'd rather no one lived there at all?
