It's the ultimate self-delusion to believe suicide is the ultimate exercise of freedom. It's not a choice but a denial, elimintating all other possibilities. It immediately removes all opportunity for further spiritual life or growth of the ill person and to a degree all those involved in the murder/suicide.
If the Culture of Death gains strength, they will start using the word "choice" less and less, their rhetoric will be more along the line of Marx's "Nothing can have value without being an object of utility."
