That could be dangerous as he has probably lost alot of muscle mass and bone strength, sitting around like that, and will need special taxpayer funded physical therapy care...then again I wonder if he had acquired much before this hurricane hit.

He's obviously not a fan of JFK, his airport's namesake, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."
(I pay for my hotels with my own money, and I avoid airport hotels because they are usually *TOO EXPENSIVE*.)

I spent my money just the way I wanted, and I think [fema] should send me some more, HIS money?
I'd be ashamed to have an article like this written about me.

Yeah...your right. This would require walking several blocks and sprinting from the cops. Does that motel bed have wheels?

Perhaps we taxpayers can hire someone to do the mugging on his behalf?

Heh....should I say it?
...there are some who will do the mugging that Americans won't do for free.

Good inspirational speech GW. I support your approach but our representatives aren't going to let us have our way - as usual.

This is the perfect example and result of social welfare engineering. We now have an entire growing population of non contributors with their hands out.
When our elected critters go trawling for voters this is all they catch then rest of us become slaves to pay for band aids for this growing social disease.
I for one am about at my limits end taking care of the scumb class!

Unfortunately, this is the NO 'Rat machine's legacy.
I'm glad that Mayor Moon's spawn didn't get a chance to hold the purse strings.
Say what you will about Nagin, but he's the better man for the job.
Not, that he's good...
"Attorneys with the Legal Aid Society have been negotiating a buyout deal for Johnson and the remaining evacuees, and expect a settlementhe heard about $1,200imminently."
This is their legacy, too, on the national level.
It's almost like blackmail.

The problem here isn't Theon, Katrina, or FEMA, the problem is NYC's squatters-rights law.
