It's not just the on the job managing.. it's the attitude of the ball players. Except for a few, the team in general doesn't play the game right. The contrast between them and the Sox is like night and day...

Maybe. I think the Cubs should do what the Sox did. They should fire everyone from the top down. Then, go hire former Cub players to GM, manage, and Coach. They need to show loyalty to former Cub players hungry to win and bring some continuity to the team. If the BoSox, Dodgers and Tigers can do it, so can the Cubs.

Maybe Stone, but ownership should look accross the Majors at former Cub players and stars that are on their way up the coaching ladder and talk them into "coming home". This is never lost on young players and almost always has an immediate effect on the attitudes in the clubhouse.
