It seems to me that he's being as manly as the law allows. Why should anyone simply "suck it up" when being defamed? He can't fight back physically without landing jail -- and he still wouldn't have cleared his name.

Give me a break. A men ignore this sort of nonsense. He sounds like a prepubescent girl trying to get even with another prepubescent girl for calling her "fatty" on the playground. He needs to move on.
