I agree with you. The liberals are mainly concentrated in the San Francisco Bay and the Los Angeles area.But unfortunately, that where the leadership in the State Legislature from.

Half the voters live in those two areas: LA County and the Bay area, maybe a bit more, and their voting pattern is far more skewed than the much of the balance of the state, on most issues.
