Even the most virulent anti-Americans struggle to explain what possible
strategic interest there was in Kosovo

About the only explanation I can see is...we stayed out in 1914...and still
got dragged in on the end of WWI.

We stayed out in 1939-Dec. 1941...and we still got dragged into WWII in Europe.

What the h-ll, we might as well just come running when the sh-t hits the fan
in Europe instead of waiting until it's higher than our waders.

That's about the only rational I can generate.

It was all about "Wag The Dog" and Monica Lewinsky and the rape of Juanita (is rape a love crime or a hate crime?) The Serbs were America's best friend in the region in WW2 and we bombed Belgrade because some Muslims got Madelyin Alldim all up-set!!! My how things have changed!!!

Except waiting until the excrement hits the fan usually ends up costing a lot more in American and allied lives. Not to mention her enemies lives.

I can suggest a more cynical explanation for Clinton's Balkan interventions, to wit, the same motivation as the Europeans had: throwing Christian Serbia to the Islamist crocodile in hope of being eaten last.

The way I see it ( if it's any consolation ) that God uses a mighty power to control human events and stamp out evil evil.

For those who don't believe the Bible here is something to consider and think about.

The Israelites were captured and forced into bondage for their disobedience towards God ( it was prophesied that they will go into Babylonian, and return to the promised land afterwords ).

God used a pagan King ( King Cyrus of Persia ) ( who also was prophesied in the book of Isaiah that whom God would raise up to defeat the Babylonians 200 years before he was born. )
God's divine will and sovereignty directed world events, and God used ( remember he was a pagan King who did not worship the God of Israel ) King Cyrus to deliver the Israelites from the hands of the Babylonians.
Not only did he set them free, but, made a decree that they would be protected and rebuild Jerusalem.
It was by God's will, sovereignty, and providence that the USA came into being.
It is by no accident that America is the greatest country that this world has ever known.
But, America has strayed away from it's Christian roots ( Yes, God ordained this county to be a " Christian Nation " in spite of what the heathens or the ungodly think and we need to repent and turn back to God.
What ever happens, God is using the USA for his purposes and divine will.

Thank God for a country like the USA, that is the most blessed.
Thank God that we live in the USA.
