The current unemployment rate will be going up again
They can't fire people

Yes, but they will hire even less of those that enter the work force.

Does France have a law that an employer can not fire any employee ?

Yes, they have a law that they can't fire people (MAYBE if they are arrested and sent to prison). Remember the riots a couple months ago where the streets got real hot because the government wanted to allow employers to let anyone under 26 go in the first year of employment. The French government surrendered on that one too.

Unemployment WILL go up in France -- for many reasons besides their minimum wage.

Thanks.

France sounds like a huge disaster...waiting to happen.

I know there were all those riots in France, Belgium, etc. last year.

But it seems that it will get alot worse in the years ahead as the muslim population expands and the native French die off.
