There's a pocket Glock in.40 that's very concealable, as well as some really small .45s [although the recoil is probably a bear]. With .45s, though, the issue is price.
What I don't understand is why Prof. Adams is: [a] Taking pistols on hunting trips instead of revolvers, and [b] taking smaller caliber handguns when he's hunting game with bigbore rifles. When I hunt boar, I use a .45-70 Guide gun - and carry a .44 mag Bisley as backup.
